I love you!
As always, I am so glad you are a Bethel Bengal and that you choose Bethel each and every day! I love you and your family, and wish you a very merry Christmas and a happy New Year! Looking forward to seeing you and your sweet ones again soon! - Mrs. Barbee

School and Family Engagement Opportunities:

Family Learning Night and Art Show- Wednesday, April 30th, 2025 (WHAATT!  2025?!)
We look forward to seeing families for our next family engagement night!  Families will get to play various literacy and math games as well as check out one-of-a-kind art displays from all of our Bethel Bengals!  More information to be shared soon!

What do you think?!  Share any final thoughts about our newly drafted vision, mission, and core commitments!
Thank you to everyone who submitted a response to community surveys in the summer and throughout this first semester regarding your vision for your child, schooling for your child, and for Bethel Elementary!  I also want to thank everyone who was able to attend the revisioning committee meeting Dec. 11th, including John Crump, Mayor of Midland, and his fellow Town Council members!  Please take a look at the draft vision, mission, and core commitments statements using every single word submitted my community members!  If you need this information translated, please copy and paste the information into Google Translate.

Important Reminders:
  • Cafeteria Balances:  Please remember that Bethel is not a 100% Free/Reduced Lunch school, which means that families must qualify for free/reduced lunch benefits or pay for lunch.  Any charges that the school incurs because families are not paying must be paid by the school at the end of the year.  At this time, Bethel's lunch account is over $3,400.00.  You may pay your child's lunch balance and apply for free/reduced benefits at LINQ Connect.
  • And maybe this could be a NEW YEARS RESOLUTION!!!  :) The tardy bell rings at 8:15 am. Thank you to everyone who consistently ensure their kiddos are on the bus or at school in the car rider line on time!
    • Students must be in their classrooms by 8:15 in order not to be counted tardy.  Early checkouts are also called "tardy" in the attendance system.
    • As a side note, but quite relevant - if we, as adults, were late as often as some of our kiddos are late to school, we would get FIRED!!! Thanks for supporting the life skill of kiddos getting up on time and being prepared for the day!
